How It's Done...
Cylinder Blocks are bored out to:
- eliminate any wear, original pistons are replaced with oversize pistons, usually the customer has a choice of several oversize pistons
- the largest size to increase capacity of engine, to gain maximum performance (upgrade to forged pistons)
- remove and refit new liner
- fit a liner where the engine mever originally had one, customer can re-use original piston with this method
- wet liners bored out
